Is it possible to reinstall SL?

I'm thinking of upgrading to ML from SL today. I have backed up all of my files in case, but I have one question. I have a early 2011 MBP, 8,1 , and it came with the Mac OS X install disk 10.6.7. If I don't like ML, can I just wipe my hard drive and reinstall SL, or am I stuck forever with ML? Thanks.

There's always a way to downgrade, but it's never as easy as upgrading.

If you want to go back to SL enough, you will manage, but it may be a tedious process (depends on your experience - it could be extremely easy, too)

You should be able to restore to its out of box state with the restore discs. But ML may mess with your firmware to add internet restore functionality.
