Is it possible to remove the "contacts" app?

I don't use the contacts app and it takes space on my screen (I like to have everything on 1 screen).
Is it possible to unuinstall this?

I moved the App Store, iTunes Store, and Settings icons to the second page since they aren't used that frequently (at least by me).

Now I have room on page 1 for the more important stuff.

I do this as well for my least used apps.

No. It is actually useful, you don't need to dig into the phone app to get a contact info.
