i like the mac os and was wondering if it is possible to run a pretty recent version of it on my windows computers

Be aware that creating a hackintosh is not for novices. There are issues with different motherboards, different video cards, updates, and more. It is NOT simply a process of sticking in the disk and installing. Plus on a machine running windows, you'd probably have to eliminate windows to install OSx, so switching back and forth is an issue. There are different bootloader options, but again not for the novice.
