Is it possible to salvage cached videos from iPhone?

I have videos that I've downloaded (cached) from YouTube to my phone using a downloader app on my iPhone 5. Since I upgraded to the 5s, I've tried finding all the videos again using the same app but some of them have since been deleted from YouTube, and the only copies I have are cached in the app on my 5. I have first searched everywhere on the internet with no luck, then tried to find a way to get them off my phone and save them somehow. And after searching for a few days the only solution I can come up with is to set up a camera and record the screen of the 5. I will do that if I have to, but I want to see if there is any other way before I go that route. Plus the only decent camera I have is on the 5s and I was going to use that but the audio wouldn't come out too good. If anyone out there can help me at all I greatly appreciate it. I want to get this done as soon as possible so I can restore the phone and sell it. Thanks!
