I know you can just call someone and click Facetime, but is it possible to have a favorite where you can directly Facetime someone kinda like how it is in your recent call list?

sorry, I was answering the original question. you can only add contacts as favourites so you need to save the number then add it to favourites.
 
just went to favourits, clicked the + icon and picked a contact, that is all.

I am on 4.1 tho, maybe its new feature?

Must be, I am on 4.0.1 and it doesn't let me differentiate which type I would like to use. I think that's a cool feature, I don't have any contacts on my favorites list but I plan on putting all my friends with FaceTime in that section. I'll use it as a makeshift FaceTime list. Good to learn !
