For example my main desktop PC computer has the scanner connected. Is there anyway through my network that my I can use my scanner from MBP laptop thanks.

Have you looked into USB to network interfaces? They're usually used for printers, but may also work for your scanner. (I haven't looked into this personally.)

I think wat I was trying to say was is it possible to have my scanner being used through my network to my MBP pro w/o any usb cable connected to my MBP. Iam having some serious problems getting my MBP to print share through my network. My Main PC has windows Vista on it but i still cant figure out how to print share with mac and vista.

I believe (although I may be wrong) that it is not possible to share a scanner on the network unless you have specific network scanner drivers.

Printing and scanning are not comparable.
