Is it possible to start call from watch with audio on wireless headphones?

hi there,
I'd like to be able to make a call using the watch with my wireless Powerbeats 3 connected, but I can't get the audio to be on headphones.

What I mean is that if I start the call from the watch, with the headphones connected, the audio will be on the watch and I can't seem to find a way to "transfer" it to the headphones.

It's a pretty basic user case, can't believe its not possible.

Could never do it with any of my old BT earphones (Plantronics Backbeat Go2, Jaybird Bluebud X2). Some people mentioned handoff or something but I never played close enough attention.

Works great with the AirPods. Given the Powerbeats 3 has the W1 chip, and is essentially an Apple product, I'd assumed it could do it as well? I'm curious to know, sorry for providing you with no answer.

Since the call is actually on your phone anyway, why not just start it that way?

Car. Watch is great for setting up calls when stopped.

Yes it does, worked on my Powerbeats3 and solo3'.
Just as a side I've alsways disliked beats due to too much low end. These have the bottom but they have the mids and highs too. Absolutely love em.
