On all of my old phones I was able to cancel a text by pressing end. But I have not been able to with the iPhone. I never thought of asking but is there any way to do it?

Something like changing the send button into cancel while it is sending would work great.

it is IMPOSSIBLE
unless you destroy your phone in mid-process
you could try that and post results

it would be nice if this was possible. one time I got my texts mixed up with who I was replying to and sent a message I totally did not want to send to someone... I could only watch it horror as was sending :(

Let me guess, you are that supposed girl that sent her dad a text about having sex, right?
