I'm having a problem with Samsung Kies on my Macbook Air. When I start my Mac, "Kies Wifi Agent" always starts-up and uses 90% of my CPU. Only by opening Activity Monitor can I quit this Wifi Agent.

Obviously, uninstalling Kies would solve the problem, but then I wouldn't be able to sync my phone. Is it possible to tell my Mac to not allow Kies Wifi Agent to run? Or can I somehow 'quarantine' the whole Kies software?

Any help appreciated.

System Preferences > Users and Groups > Your user ID > Login Items

Select the application (if shown) and then hit the minus sign (-). You might have to unlock permissions first by clicking on the padlock in the lower left corner.
