iCloud Is it possible to sync iMessage between MacBook A and iPhone A, and between MacBook B and iPhone B, while all are logged in to the same Apple Account?

Hey all,

Apologies if this isn't the right forum for this question, so mods please feel free to move it to a more appropriate forum.

I have my personal MacBook and iPhone, and I would like to keep iMessage synced between those two devices like I always have. No issues there.

Recently, I got another MacBook and iPhone to use for work. I would like to have iMessage sync between these two devices without having my personal messages in these work devices, and vice-versa. I'm using the same Apple Account, since this is the only account I have, and all I've managed to do so far is keep new messages to their respective devices, but when I sync to iCloud all my previous personal messages get added to my work devices.

I think the solution is going to be to make a new Apple Account, but before I do that, is there a way to have it do what I want it to do?

You’ll need to have 2 separate Apple accounts for that to work the way you want.
