Is it possible to transfer game data from iPod Touch to iPad 2?

So, I got an iPad 2 a few weeks ago and I transfered all my apps from my Touch to my iPad. When I booted up ''MyTown2''' to play, it was as if this was my first time playing. Is there a way I can get my game from my Touch to my iPad without having to start over?

If the game is Game Center enabled, iCloud should automatically transfer saved games. When you sign into your iCloud/Game Center account on your iPad, you should be able to carry on from where you left off on your iPod Touch.

Crap, I had iCloud off when I transfered everything over from my iPod to my iPad.
