I currently own an iPhone 3G and would prefer it to be a clean install with functionality for other GSM networks. Is this at all possible?
It is currently jailbroken on 3.1.3 and unlocked. I actually refuse to update because the phone is archaic and 4.x was quite a disaster on it. Please let me know if there is any way I can achieve this.

3.1.3 is the best ios for the 3G imo so that was smart. you might have app issues though.
