I have a late 2013 rmbp. My trackpad is on the fritz and if it can't be repaired I'm looking at replacing it. So I'm think that it would be nice to put in the Force Touch trackpad but I don't know if it's possible.

I know that the housing hasn't changed so it should be possible if Apple would allow it.

Apple don't do upgrades. They sell phones, computers, and tablets, new ones with new features.
