Is it possible to use iCloud to sore apps?

If you use iCloud email, you could attach the app (or any file you like) to an email and then save the mail to the server based 'drafts' folder. You obviously won't be able to use the app but you can 'store' it in the cloud that way I guess.

They are held in the cloud, on apple's app store servers. Not on your personal iCloud account, which is good, cos then it doesn't come out of your allowance! You can always re-download your purchased apps from the app store.

The downside of Apple's setup is that if you don't have iTunes on a PC or Mac to make a copy of each app file via sync, once you update to the latest version of an app on your device you cannot go back to an earlier version.

It's futile to try and stay on old versions of iOS apps.
