Hi,

I have this old MBP that I had kept as backup laptop. It has Intel HD 4000 and two Thunderbolt 1.0 ports with 10gbps bandwidth each. I found many old threads on whether 4K is possible, but those are quite outdated information. Some configurations and tweakings did allow for certain 4K outputs - but on a limited basis.

By any chance, will it be possible to get this working with a 4K monitor now with High Sierra?

Thanks!

You might be able to get the display going @ 1080p.

I don't believe you can get 4k from it, no way, no how.
