Hi.. i'm thinking of getting a new iphone..
But 30 dollars on top of the plan is was too much for me..
Is there any possible way that I can use iphone without getting internet service? I don't need the internet service on the road.

Another question.
This is a hypothetical situation..

Let's say.. you have iphone with two years of contract.
Then you want to give your iphone to your friend who has at&t account.
If you give your iphone to your friend by simply putting his simcard into the iphone and you buy another iphone from at&t with two years of contract.
Do you think they will put another 2-year-contract on top of the 2-year-contract you already have? or do you think they will just give you 2-year-contract from the the moment you got the new iphone?

Are there anybody who have similar experiences?

there's been a lot of speculation on this.

short answer: you could on the first gen, but nobody knows yet about the 3g model.
