no. its output only not input. Theres no thunderbolt to hdmi so that won't work either.

HDMI whether it's via the dedicated rMBP port or a Thunderbolt/Mini-DP adaptor is OUTPUT only.

You will require a capture device to use your MBP as a display for the PS3. The latency between capture and display would likely make gaming ... difficult.
