I have searched all over, and can not seem to find the answer to this question.

Is it possible to use a Verizon Iphone 5C (Model A1532) on Straight talk on Verizon towers (CDMA, not GSM).

I live in an area where AT&T and T-Mobile service is not acceptable. It must use the Verizon network.

I got a no. So I ended up buying a st iphone 5 cause I get zero service where I live on AT&T. So I had to be on Verizon towers. This was before all the 5c stuff. That said I think Verizon has a deal with them where you can't bring a 4g phone over. But that might have changed.

Thanks, I have asked ST, and it would appear the answer depends on who you ask. I have gotten a yes and a no. Just not sure how to know who is right.

What I have gathered is you need to buy a "CDMA" iphone from ST directly in order to use VZ towers. However you will not get LTE, which is the drawback.
