Is it possibleto play Iphone 2g music in car?

I just bought a new car stereo and it has an AUX jack but I did some searches and people have said it doesn't work. They were old posts though so I don't know if things have changed. Is there somethnig that I need to buy to make it work or is there tlike an app or what? I was planning on just buying an AUX jack but I dont want to be disappointed and go back to return it(only store is really far)

AUX jacks are usually designed to accept the same kind of connections that headphones use. The only thing that might be stopping you is the recessed headphone jack on the original iPhone. There are a couple of options for that. One showed up as $0.01 on Amazon for me.

Yup ... it works great! As the poster above said, you just need the correct cable.
