Hi guys!
I recently bought a used iPod touch gen5th from eBay. The seller said it just worked for two month and it's "Like New" and there is no scratch or wear on it. after I received I noticed there are some scratches around the edge of body where the screen is attached. It's strange because there are no wear on the other parts. It seems there was a remarkable pressure on the edge. I'm afraid it's the sign of a refurbished screen or device because it just can be opened from there. I put some photos that you can see. I'll be appreciate if you have experience about it.
Thank you.

The paint chips off really easily on the ipt5. I had some chips like that after a week or two of light use. Probably not a screen replacement.

Thank you. It's very strange because it had a silicone case. and all the the scratches are just around the device on the edge not on the other parts of body.

For a screen replacement, you wouldn't put tools in contact with that part of the bezel. There would probably be wear on the inner edge and not the outer edge. It looks like normal wear. If it's in good condition otherwise, why fret over this? You can end up returning it, but you'll probably have a hard time finding a used iPod touch in better shape.

Mine is in a silicon case and almost the entirety of the lip of the bezel (where you have the chips) on mine is bare metal now after two years of use :) I think it rubs on the inside of the case. The paint is pretty poor quality I think.
