If I delete them, I will clear up 700MB of disk space. :eek::eek::eek::eek:

caches are used to make your computer run faster when they are deleted they regenerate right after but if you do delete them everything will be slow for a bit until u get enough caches back so its not recommend you deleted them unless you have some problem:eek:
 
I do it pretty regularly as part of my maintenance routine. Never had a problem.
 
Unless you're experiencing a problem, I wouldn't delete them. They are there for a reason.
 
Mine is only 6.4mb. That's 6 month's of caching.

My mac must think the crappy apps I use aren't worth disk space. :D

Bearing in mind that there are two Caches folders, and the one in User>Library is MUCH bigger than in MacintoshHD>Library.

Mine is HUWUWUWUWUWUWUGE.
