I don't really understand what is happening with the Chinese controversy, but is it finally safe to download the jailbreak? Is Cydia working? bitesms?

Would you guys wait or download? I'm so torn.

If your language is not set to chinese then that part of the jail-break will not happen. Plus the evad3rs team has killed switched it now anyway.

You can jail break but then just leave it be.

The devs and saurik are catching up.

Most tweaks are buggy or just not working especially on the 5s.

Performing the JB kills the auto update or OTA update.

It can only be owners decision to update.

ie : Restore and update.

Its thought the next official iOS will be 7.1

I say go ahead and JB, there is no harm in doing it now. More tweaks and apps will be ready soon. There are a few that work now. Should be a working beta of BiteSMS out any day.

I am using one to give me a clear dock (much better than the stock one) and a couple others to clean up the lock screen.
