just a quick question.. I just wanted to make sure I get the iPhone 5 right away after the release and was wondering the ebay way x)
The seller has 778 ish stars with 98 or 100 feedback and he's offering an iPhone 5 pre order.
Is it safe to buy it?
thanks for your opinions rumors ppl <3!

Edit

LOL thanks guys for rating down to my post.
You know I care about them ..
and you know what?
I'm not a smart ass so I don't make perfect decisions all the time.
I'm not mature enough to make good decisions.
UGH.
I don't understand why some people are SO haters. -_-

If it was me, I wouldn't, even if the seller does have good feedback he should not be listing an iPhone "5" preorder when Apple has confirmed nothing yet.

Why on earth would you do that? Just pre-order it through Apple or your carrier. I think it'd be pretty stupid to do what you're thinking.

okay thanks!
I live in Canada, will I be able to pre order on the apple website too?
how's the pre order process? like, does it have limited spaces ?
thank you so much for answering guys! >_<

Although I'm not sure if Canada's preorders go live the same day as the US, yes, Apple will have it available to you through the Canadian Apple Store online. Yep, there's limited spaces so to speak, probably a few million, but as long as you preorder on day 1 you should have no problem getting one.

Assuming the server doesn't crash like last year.:mad::mad:

hehe thanks for the info ^^!

No way would I try and get it off of ebay. Go through Apple or your carrier. I would rather wait to get than to risk losing my money in a scam.

Since nothing has even been officially said about the release for the iPhone 5 yet, I don't think it'd be a good idea, even if this seller plans to deliver and is honest, because you may be waiting several months. There may end up being bureaucratic or administrative issues with the purchases and your money may be lost. I would recommend doing it through Apple or a carrier of your choice once it's actually announced because then you're guaranteed the product, granted you can actually get a pre-order spot. :)

Yeah man, always check out the most reliable sources before looking into individuals who sell things on eBay and are obviously good at convincing people to buy their stuff if they have all those stars and feedack.

I wouldn't, especially at this point. Most likely they will jack up the price and try and rip you off. But if there are non in stock and you are desperate....take a chance?

most early Ebay sellers will be scalpers ... be prepared to line-up yourself or order online from Apple

There is a sucker born every minute.
However, at least the OP had the sense to post a message here and get our opinion. We saved him/her from being swindled and hopefully taught a lesson about using critical thinking skills.
You cant be serious are you?

I don't trust eBay.

Instead, I pre-ordered my iPhone 5 on Craigslist. Shipping from Rwanda (wherever the hell that is; gotta be somewhere in China). I had to make a 75% security deposit in order to qualify for free shipping though. So I did that. I'm pretty psyched, guys. The procedure is pretty straightforward; just send all your details to their pre-order email address at alijadwali69@gmail.com.

Sounds legit.

I would never pre-order online if there is no confirm from Apple yet.
It is better to order directly from Apple or the carrier to avoid troubles in future.
