I recently bought a Jailbroken iPhone and I want to sync music to it, but to do that I'll need to register it to my iTunes right?
Because it simply wont let me click and drag my desired playlist onto my phone.

So my question is, is it safe to set up my iPhone as a new phone on my iTunes? Will it remove the jailbroken feature and lock my phone?

Thank you in advance :)

setting up as a new iphone will as it will restore it and you will loose your jailbreak. This is the same if you were to update your phone to say, 5.0.1

You don't have to set up as new to sync your music. Why won't you just locate the music files in itunes then sync it? It should replace the current music in your iphone.
