Is it still possible to downgrade? (ios5/b6)?

just curious if its still possible to downgrade from ios 5 beta 6? To ios 4.3whatever

i have been running the ios 5 series since beta 1, but i have had some very odd issues with beta 6 and have lost files etc.

So I am thinking of downgrading, in the hopes of getting my ipad 2 to work properly .... But dont want to open up a new can of worms.

Any help wil be much appreciated.

I was able to downgrade my iPad 1st generation 16GB Wifi with no problems.

The iPhone, had more problems.

May i ask how you downgraded your ipad 1?

you can downgrade your iPad or iPod by slipping into DFU mode and option restoring whatever the latest release that apple is still signing and ONLY that release 4.3.5 i think? i don't remember.

as for the iPhone, the phones radio firmware doesn't get downgraded and attempting to downgrade the os can cause some serious problems if you're not careful.

the iOS 5 betas have gotten steadily better for me each time, beta 6 is no exception. everything is very smooth, they're getting close. if you're not having this experience i suggest you do an option restore and then back up your settings from iCloud or iTunes
