I'm thinking of buying one after christmas. Do you think it is still worth it. I will mainly be using jt for web design and photoshop with abit of final cut thrown in as well.

Worth is a subjective call. I think its an excellent laptop. If you want the retina screen, go for it. If you'd rather have the optical drive or user replaceable ram/hard drive the cMBP is better

The rMBP is smaller, thinner, lighter, and as fast as the original MacBook Pro. It's only drawback is that it's not user upgradeable.

Many pro-apps including Photoshop have now been updated to work with the Retina display making the rMBP more compelling than ever.

Is it worth to buy a Lambo? I mainly be driving to work and doing some track days with abit of supermarket thrown in as well.

Are you referring to the marginal upgrade its going to be getting in 6+ months? I just bought one. Couldn't be happier.
