I'm asking this here because on MS forums I encounter too many people who have no clue how convenient the Mac app Preview is. Does anyone know of a free or cheap (~50$) program for Windows that does what Preview does? I.E. PDF editing, annotation, combining, splitting, etc...
It's quite shameful that MS still doesn't offer decent built in software. Win8 "reader" is more useless than the free Adobe Reader. Not only that, but MS insists on splitting up all of their software. There's no reason why "Fax and Scan" can't be integrated within a "reader" type program the way Apple does it.
And while I'm ranting, when will MS clean up the Control Panel; a la System Preferences. Control Panel is such a cluster**** compared to Mac OS and Ubuntu... and it's only gotten worse with Windows 8 and the "Modern UI" settings thrown into the mix.
