Hey there. I have a mid 13 MBA and I am having issues with the HDMI.
I purchased a cheap ebay HDMI cable and two TVs have the same issue.. The tv will randomly black out and turn back on after a few seconds like it loses connection. Sometimes it takes ten minutes, sometimes its sooner or longer.. Could it be my display port or is it just the cheap cable?
Another issue I noticed is that randomly the audio will stop working on the TV. Its done it in fire fox and safari when I have a window up on the other screen.. If I unplug the HDMI the audio works fine but the to the TV It stops working until I close out the browser im using and bring it back up.
Anyhow, has anyone else had these issue? Its not the TV since it does it on both of mine do the same thing. I just want to make sure if it is the laptop that I can get it fixed under warrenty before it runs out. (May). I will be buying another cable too just to see if it changes things any.
Another issue is that on my smaller TV the audio sometimes spikes and is loud.. which might be the TV. The TV works fine otherwise, but my big TV doesnt have this issue.. Its.. all a bad sitution haha
