I was just at Best Buy and they have a new MacBook Air with an 1.8GHz i7 processor in their system but not available for pick up or delivery. Model: ZOME and SKU: 4853152.

The Ivy Bridge i7s run at 1.9GHz and 2.0GHz. My guess is that Apple will skip the 1.9GHz model and use the 2.0GHz in the high-end Air.

This article has a table that shows the Ivy Bridge i5 and i7 chips that are available for the next MacBook Air.

If they follow the same pattern they did in 2011, the 11" base model will use the i5-3317U, the 13" base will use the i5-3427U and both high end models will use the i7-3667U.

Didn't think the air would get an update at WWDC

... But with all these ultrabooks being announced at Computex... There's no way Apple won't announce a refresh.

The update to the MBP would have to pretty earth shattering for me not to get an air.
