Hi. I have a 2008 generation BlackBook and the monitor that I have connected to it works fine for about a minute and then flickers and then everything has an extreme pink tint until I unplug it from my laptop and give it a break.

I've swapped the VGA-to-VGA cable with another, and the problem remains. I've connected a different monitor (different size, ratio, resolution, brand) and the problem remains. The issue must be with the Apple branded VGA-to-MiniDVI adapter or with the laptop itself. Which one would cause a color to drop out?
