Hi,

I bought a Mac Book about two and half weeks ago as part of the eduction promotion. I still have the ibook i had gotten three years ago.

I bought both computers at a "mature stage" in their evolution. Approximately, seven months after my ibook's purchase came out the first MacBook. A new kind of MacBook will in short be announced.

I have preferred to get "evolved" modells because I think is a better choice. Do you also share this kind of choice ?? Just curious, kind regards,

igmolinav.

There is nothing wrong with buying a matured computer. I know a lot of people buy cars their last production year.

The current MacBook case design is still very poor ... if I could take it back now, I would've waited a year just to get a different case design.

Usually when I buy a new mac, I wait until the a refreshed model is released, then I buy the "old" model at a greatly reduced price...

If it was a significant update (like MacBook from iBook), then I would buy the newer model....

I buy the newer model refurbished. :D

Ditto. Sometimes the "refurbished item" isn't really refurbished. It's just sold that way to move stock.

Yeah, but I have save more $$ than I would have even buying a new "refurb"...There was an retailer near where I live that would drop the price a lot to get rid of them...
