I have a late 2008 MacBook Pro. My battery has been through 805 cycles and system profiler says the battery is in good condition. But when I'm using the MacBook Pro on battery I feel like it doesn't last as long as I remember it. Should I trust what system profiler says about the battery, or should I go with my personal experience?

Replace the battery when it no longer holds enough charge to meet your needs.

The link below should answer most, if not all, of your battery/charging questions. If you haven't already done so, I highly recommend you take the time to read it.

If you're having performance issues (which can also cause faster battery draining), this may help:

is pretty much up to you if you think it does not last long for your needs ,well get a new one, you'll need one eventually. No one here know what kind of work you do on your macbook so is up to your needs.
