The title is correct. I'm still on Sonoma in both my M1 MacBook air and my M1 Mac Mini. I wonder if the last version of Sequoia is safe (stable) to be installed now. I don't care about the new Tahoe, it will probably take me another year to eventually upgrade to it.

Any comments, opinions, are welcomed.

Thanks in advance to those who answer me.

I was asking the same question being on Sonoma and not caring about Tahoe
Who's regretting Sonoma after jumping to Sequoia?

Music, Mail and Photos are the 3 apps I care more about , not the best already in Sonoma: have Apple fixed some of the bugs?

I jumped to Sequoia on my 2019 Intel MBP earlier this year. I don't think anything was fixed relative to Music, Mail, and Photos. They did add the categories feature to Mail and I don't remember if they deprecated some Mail plugins in Sonoma or Sequoia. At any rate, feels mostly the same for me. But I'm on Intel and don't get the advantage of the couple Apple Intelligence features that come with Sequoia. If you're on Apple Silicon and that interests you, Sequoia may be worth the upgrade. It's been stable for me. I mainly upgraded from Sonoma to Sequoia for the Password application and iPhone Mirroring and, I know this might seem insignificant, but I like having the Low Power mode toggle available in the Menu Bar Battery icon. In Sonoma I have to go into System Settings and Battery to toggle Low Power, but it's conveniently in the Battery icon for Sequoia. And finally, I'm going to ride out the final two years of support on my Intel MBP with Sequoia before buying into the Apple Silicon family in 2027.

Thank you so much for your detailed review!

Thank you all for your replies. I ended up installing Sequoia yesterday evening on both, my Mac Mini and my MacBook Air. Both are working fine. Both computers seem snappier with Sequoia. Safari is considerably faster now than it was with Sonoma. I made a backup after the update (Time machine) of both, without any problems.
If someone is on the same situation and has the same doubts, I want to say the update worked well for me. I might post again after a few days of use, but everything is fine so far.
PS. Apple Intelligence is disabled for me because of the language I set on Siri (I KNEW before updating that using that language would keep it disabled), this is not a big problem, since I use ChatGPT whenever needed.
I hope this very short review can be useful to any of you or others.
Wish you all a nice day and thanks again for those who have answered me.
