Is It Worth Getting An External Sound Card For 13" MBPr?

I ordered the Sound Blaster OMNI USB sound card for my late 2013 13" MBPr. I would like to know if anyone here uses a USB sound card on their mbp's and if they are worth getting?

If you have great speakers and lossless music, it'll sound awesome. Otherwise, the internal sound card does pretty well for what it is.

I have the xonar u7, which I got for switching between headphones and speakers easily. For that reason I think it is worth getting. Otherwise in terms of quality, MBP's come with a pretty good DAC inside already.

My soundcard from Apogee sounds much better than the rMBP. So I'd say yes.
