Is it worth it to upgrade to 3.1?

I have a 2G iPhone on 3.0. Is it worth it to upgrade to 3.1?

What do i get?
And what wont work if i dont?

As long as the basic functions work - phone etc im happy. All the apps just fuel ADD / Screen Addiction!
