I have an old MacBook white with 4G RAM and 2.4 GHz processor speed. I was wondering if it was worth it to get the windows 7 for it? I've heard the GMA X3100 graphics card won't support aero, but is there any other problems? I have VMWare Fusion, so if I get it, I'll probably run it on there.

My black MacBook, with 2.2 Ghz and 4 GB RAM, runs Windows 7 very well. I use both Bootcamp and Parallels and everything works fine in both. I've heard that Fusion might not work very well with the aero effects, but I haven't tried it out myself.

do you have vista already? buying 7 from scratch costs a couple hundred dollars. from what i've seen, vista and 7 really are 95% the same. i've been happy with vista (finally tweaked it to the way i like it) and don't see any real reason to upgrade, especially with apple's horrible driver support for windows, a lot of users experience issues with sound and whatnot if you check out the windows on mac subforum.
