Around 10 years ago I've acquired G4 Cube. I got keyboard, mouse and speaker set to go with it. It is in functioning order. Gradually I've upgraded GPU, wi-fi card and also obtained matching 17" LCD panel. The Cube is in functioning order, boots both to MacOS 9 and OSX.

However, I really haven't got that much time to play with it as I'd like to and it's just been collecting dust, taking up space (I kept it stored in a box in a closet). Last time I looked, it seems like one one side the cube is sort of rarity but on the other hand it does not seem to be that valuable.

I can't decide whether to keep it, hope it goes up in value and possibly I have some more time in future to enjoy the machine or whether just to sell it so someone else can enjoy it (and I can free up space).

What do you think?

The age old dilemma, every time I sell one of my PPC's I live to regret it....

I'd keep it, and if you don't have the original Box or anything else it shipped with, I'd just keep a lookout for buying that stuff, it does come up now and then.

Apple stuff is worth so much more when you have the box and original materials.

Honest the Cube is not taking up much space and 10 or 20 years from now it's likely to be a very rare collectors item.

I have owned many vintage Apple computers that would have been more valuable today, but they're not taking up the space anymore, they're not falling apart under my watch and hopefully someone else is enjoying them. Don't regret it actually, it was a conscious decision to sell.

my next project would be reviving and placing latest technology (thinking about Mac Studio) into a iMac G4 Cube and also create similar monitor at 27inch. would love to have one set if you willing to sell.
