So Im in Europe and I have an option to chose between the chinese or usa version. From what I can see both versions support all of the 4G bands in my country and almost all 4g bands across Europe. I don't need the dual sim feature currently but I thought its cool to have as an option and maybe it will add in resale value. I just need the iPhone 11 for 6 months then i'm planing to go for 12.

I think it will detract from resale value as every potential purchaser will have the same questions as you.

i agree that the two physical SIM model is a great choice.
you don't need to be stuck with the tremendously expensive options that the virtual SIM is limited to.

but, if you are buying an iPhone that is made for the Chinese market from some one/ some where other than the official apple within China, it is not a good idea at all.
buying an iPhone - even if it is represented as brand new, unopened, factory box, etc etc. from a person in europe who wants to sell it is extremely risky. i wouldn't do it. especially if it doesnt come with an apple care warranty still valid for at least a year.
also be sure to check it has all the official apps from apple that you can get on an iPhone made for sale within europe.
and, make sure it can download all the apps you want to download from yr european app store.
make sure it can download and use VPN.

I will buy if the model is ZA/A on the box (from HK)
For CH/A (from China), it's a No.
