Hey guys.
So I have had my MBP (refurb, early 2011) for a few months now. I love it, no doubt. I am wondering, though, if I could get more power from it. I have a 2GHz Intel i7 as my processor, and an AMD Radeon HD 6490M with 256 MB. The laptop came with 4 GB of RAM, which is adequate. I am moving towards some FCP/FCPx editing though and I am wondering if it is worth it to upgrade to either 6 or 8 GB of RAM. Any advice is much appreciated.

I would do it. Get 2x4gb sticks. RAM is so cheap and your computer to going to be very happy with you if you're going to start using some more intensive programs

Its def. worth it. I put a total of 8gb in my late 2011 MBP and its like night and day, and it was cheap. In my opinion RAM is the best and cheapest bang for your buck when it comes to computer upgrades. Honestly you'd be dumb not to upgrade its so cheap.
