i have an early 2011 MBP, seeing that the retina display macbook are expensive. is it a good investment to updrade my ram to 10 GB and to a SSD ?
i currently have 4gb or ram and the non SSD harddrive 320gb.

short answer: YES ... it'll definitely improve your MBP performance and life cycle if you switch to SSD and add more RAM
