the difference in screen size is amazing. it doesn't seem like much, but the first time the numbers pop up to unlock, you'll be blown away by how big they are.

the processor in the 6 is almost 2.5 times the speed of the 3, you will absolutely notice that difference.

since they don't have enough memory, the 3s are getting hard to upgrade, with people having to unpair just to update the OS,

I have a 5, wear it full time (even to sleep), I turn off AOD off from 11pm to 8am (using automations in the shortcuts app on my phone) I get about 36 hours out of it, meaning if I charge it one morning, I'm still good until the next evening. I still have to charge daily, but it's a bit flexible if my schedule is strange. with AOD off all the time, I might get 48 hours.

if you scroll down the compare page on apple's site, you can see the actual difference in screen image size

Wow 48 hours would be great.

My 3 does not require me to unpair just to update anymore. It did once but that was like 6 months ago.

The best part is that you can turn always on or off whenever you want. When I’m at home I usually turn it off but the rest of the day it’s usually on. Very useful feature, don’t worry about battery life as you can extend the duration a lot by turning off this feature.

if you always do that, you could set up automations in the shortcuts app with a location trigger.

location triggers are not 100% reliable though, but fairly close.

Thank you! It’s a great tip, until now I was doing it manually but using a shorcut instead of going to the settings app.

The big thing would be aesthetics. There are many more watch faces for the newer watches. Also, the Series 6 processor really speeds up Siri.

But battery life on my 44mm Series 6 has been greatly disappointing. I’m finishing the day at 5-10 percent. If it makes it through the day at all.
