Is it worth upgrading to Mavericks from Mountain Lion?

Im running a mid 2007 iMac with 3 GB of RAM. Sometimes I feel ML lags for me. I had no problems with Snow Leopard, but upgraded strictly for iCloud and Facetime. I couldn't find the requirements to run Mavericks. Just said you had to be on Snow Leopard and above. Anyone have any input or were in the boat as me that decided to upgrade?

You don't have too much ram, so Mavericks improved memory management scheme should benefit you more then Mountain Lion. I'd say back up your system and go for it

This page suggests you just scrape into the upgrade group. I upgraded my 2010 MBA this morning and am glad that I did. I appear to have more battery life, though I appreciate its not a consideration for you on an iMac!
