Im running a mid 2007 iMac with 3 GB of RAM. Sometimes I feel ML lags for me. I had no problems with Snow Leopard, but upgraded strictly for iCloud and Facetime. I couldn't find the requirements to run Mavericks. Just said you had to be on Snow Leopard and above. Anyone have any input or were in the boat as me that decided to upgrade?

You don't have too much ram, so Mavericks improved memory management scheme should benefit you more then Mountain Lion. I'd say back up your system and go for it :)

Will do. Thanks! Just need to find out how to do that through Time Machine.

This page suggests you just scrape into the upgrade group. I upgraded my 2010 MBA this morning and am glad that I did. I appear to have more battery life, though I appreciate its not a consideration for you on an iMac!

Lol. Nope, battery is not an issue

I agree - the memory management in Mavericks is much improved over Mountain Lion... And it's free to boot...

FREE, was the main thing that got me. Think I'm going to go for it.
