I subscribe to iTunes match, and recently renewed my subscription for another year. The ability to keep my home and work iTines libraries is sync is worth the $25 a year, IMO.

But I rarely used it on my iPhone — I didn't like the lack of control for space management...and when iOS 6 came out I read all the horror stories about people blowing through their data caps.

So...is it safe to go back in the water? I just want to be able to download select playlists and/or albums on the fly...have them stored locally for car playback. I don't want (or need) true streaming...especially not over cellular.

Doesn't seem to be any better or different. Still doesn't update play counts or last played data. iTunes gave me an error that the itunes store couldn't process my request when trying to update. I am sure they would need to update the iTunes match service before anything else improves.

It's there in 6.0.1
