G'day,
My first exposure to Mr Jony Ives came in the form of the publicity videos included with my Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh. He speaks about designing various parts of that computer, and how amazingly wonderful it is. (Ok, memory may be a bit foggy on that)
These days, there really is no aesthetic comparison between the TAM and modern Apple hardware - all/mostly all of which Ives is in control of.
There is no mention of the TAM on Ive's wiki page, which I imagine may be monitored/maintained by Apple (?).
Does anyone know if the TAM was simply "the next job" on his worksheet, or if it was something he took pride in? Or is it now something he'd rather forget?
cheers,
cosmic
