Hey, I only now saw the actual video from macworld, and boy did he look skinny! Didn't look too healthy to me..

This is because he works 36 hours a day (and makes all staff work at least double).

I saw him and I didn't think he looked unhealthy, just thin. He just had a health scare and beat it and so he might just be eating right and watching his weight. He looks like all of my doctors, which is to say at an ideal weight, in stark contrast to the rest of us. Let's hope it is something this simple!

Is Jobs ill?

No, but since his announcements at MWSF, he be illin'. :D

This rumor comes up after every MacWorld/WWDC. ...The answer is always the same: no, Jobs is not ill, and his appearance doesn't reflect it either. ...He's looked exactly the same for the past few years.

Exactly. One year recently he had a bit of a cough and that's about it. This year he looked the same, his keynote was just the same etc....

You know he did have a bout with pancreatic cancer in 2O04? Thankfully, he had a rare, curable form.

I don't particularly like the guy, but I wouldn't wish ill health upon him.

Although I really didn't pay attention to the looks of Stevie this during the keynote. I have to say it must be a big marketing scheme to sell the "THIN" MBA. Honestly didn't notice anything that I would say was unhealthy.

He's a pescaterian hard working man in the computer intdustry, that weedy pale look goes with the territory. Some of us have to work on our internet tans....

He might be seen as thin in the US, I can tell you here in Europe it's a whole different story:D

As long as we're talking stereotypes, it's an absolute wonder how you Italians manage to stay thin, what with the tons of spaghetti&meatballs and hundreds of liters of red wine that an average Italian goes through every year.

There -- we're even! :p

Being a pescatarian doesn't say anything about someones weight. Its not much of a limit as far as junk food choices go.

Steve is working hard on our MBP updates, so leave him be. :p

I've read several references, probably here, to his shaky delivery in an error prone speech at MWSF. Don't know much about him but is that normal ...forgetful and awkward?

Not sure what you mean by this.

Being a Pescatarian would mean he doesn't eat *any* junk food (unless he is off his diet).

Knowing Steve, he probably would like to live forever and is doing his best to get to that goal. It's pretty much an accepted fact that you give up a few years or so of life for every extra inch of extra tummy fat you have.

I'm one and I'm weedy thin, I find it near impossible to gain weight.

At the risk of stating the bleeding obvious:

Your weight has a lot to do with how much energy you burn. If you exercise a lot then you need to eat a lot.

Having three well balanced meals a day won't make you fat. Nor will drinking a glass of red wine every evening.

Everyone should eat and drink in moderation.
