Ok the Iphone 3g have 2 holes one on the right side where you put the usb cable and another to the left. If you play one song or ring tone and put your finger in the left hole you will be blocking the sound and if you put the right button it wont have effect since the right side is not working or what?

there is only one speaker. Do a quick search and delete your post quick or a bunch of folks may give you some grief
