Is Late 2011 13" Mac Pro charge port melting a known problem?

This is the second time my pins on my mag safe charge port (on my laptop not the charger) have started to get so hot they melt. First time was fixed by apple but now in less than two months it happened again. Is this a known issue? Im sending in my charger so they can look at it also.

I've never seen this happen before. I imagine it's the charger if it's happened twice.
