Is Lion causing my glitches?

Hi,

After I installed Lion certain things are happening that did not with SL. Firstly, my stocks widget keeps on resetting to the default stocks, computer sometimes lags, I put in a CD with some PDFs on it (made on a PC) but it was not recognized by my MBP but my brothers MBP (identical) recognized it and was able to retrieve the files. My computer showed it as a blank DVD when it clearly was not.

I did a clean install of Lion last night but doesn't seem to resolve the issues. I installed snow leopard (clean install) and then downloaded lion.

Any suggestions?

I don't have any of these issues in Lion. Did you try to do these tasks when you reinstalled Snow Leopard? That's what I would do if I were you. Then you can know is Lion is the Culprit, or if it's your computer.

thats a good suggestion...I'll do that if I can't find any solution within a day or two
