Hi
How are you all doing ?
Right so since past 5 months I have started using my 8th gen ipad to write prescriptions using apple pencil and it's doing what I want tbh along with notability app..

I was thinking of buying this

Is anyone using it , is it a good choice .
I don't wish to spend much tbh as I seldom type using the physical keyboard , but just wish to have one in case i ll need to and this being universal can be used with any tablet till 10.5 size ...

Do Post your views and opinions

Thanks

The Logitech case in your link doesn’t appear to be compatible with your iPad 8th generation, and doesn’t appear as a current keyboard case on Logitech’s website. I can understand not wanting to spend a lot on a case, especially if you’ll only be using the keyboard occasionally.

An option you might want to consider is getting an inexpensive case for the iPad and a separate bluetooth keyboard. Be sure when looking for cases that they are compatible specifically for the iPad 8th generation.

If you prefer not to carry a separate keyboard, another Logitech option is the Slim Folio Keyboard case, currently on sale on the Logitech.com site and Amazon for $80.

Thanks.
I will check the other options as well.
I already have a poetic case on my iPad and a normal tempered glass over the ipad .
Also own a Logitech k380 BT keyboard.

Actually I had checked the universal folio case on the official Logitech site as well...

And it does support a variety of ipads including the 8th gen one.

Although the one I was buying doesn't have one , but from what I have heard the trackpad of all Logitech keyboards is pretty good especially on the ones released in last couple of years.
Hope that helps .

There are some other threads about the Logitech Combo Touch (which has the trackpad) versus the MK you might want to check out. Here’s a couple:

Do you have the latest MKB? I think the trackpad is great on mine. Not sure how it could be better.

Yes I do have the latest one. It’s not that it’s bad, it’s just coming from a laptop it’s not great. I don’t like the clickiness. I turned on tap to click which helps. But it’s also small and doesn’t do well with gestures.

I haven’t used the Logitech Keyboard but I think it could beat the apple one if it did 3 things:

1. Made a version where the back is just magnetically attached and lost the rubber casting.
2. It would be awesome if the keyboard had BT and if you detached it from the case you could still use it as a keyboard.
3. Had and internal compartment for the Pencil, like the microsoft surface offers.
