I don't have an iPhone, but I've used LogMeIn to maintain my family's and my business's computers from home for years. Works great.

The iPhone app works great as well.

LogMeIn is nice, but the webclient likes to kick you off your connection a lot, and after enough of these connection drops, you have to restart the daemon on the Mac you're controlling.
